Master framebuilder Jeff Lyon, founder of Lyonsport Cycles, introduces a new line of lightweight, high quality road frames priced to sell at under $800 suggested retail. The line is designed and hand crafted by Jeff Lyon using his celebrated ultra-strong, unfilled, fillet brazed construction.

The beautifully fillet brazed joints appear to be filled to an almost perfect finish. Jeff's steady hand and 25 years brazing experience give the joints the appearance of being filed. Leaving the joints unfilled assures the full strength of the tubing remains intact.

These frames possess the custom ride quality and light weight of a classic LYON road frame, yet are available at the lower cost of a production frame. Jeff does not allow an obsession with weight to compromise durability. A 56cm model constructed from Reynolds 725 tubing weighs in at only 3.6 lbs and comes with a Kinesis carbon fork either threaded or threadless. Other forks are available as an option.

The design of these frames features the time tested classic, wishbone seat stays. With its debut on the early frames of the 1800's, the design is retro. . . way retro. Yet it brings out the best in today's modern materials. It is a perfect balance of lateral and torsional stiffness combined with a comfortable forgivable ride.

These special edition road frames are finished in Gios Blue and are available in 48cm to 60cm sizes in two cm increments. Other sizes are available by special order. Call about special deals on volume and team orders.
